I currently work as a language therapist at a school on the Upper West Side that specializes in language-based learning disorders. I have worked with children as young as 12 months old, up to adults. Specific areas of focus include early intervention, school-age children with reading disorders, fluency disorders, speech sound disorders, pragmatic disorders and expressive, and receptive language delays. I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education which uses explicit, direct, sequential, systematic, multi-sensory instruction to teach reading. I am certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). My clinical background includes working in a private practice, a special education school and New York’s Weill Cornell Hospital. I received my masters in Speech-Language Pathology at Hunter College.

I love working one-on-one with my clients, getting to know each child individually and working closely with the families. I am licensed to practice in New York as well as New Jersey and can provide in-person and teletherapy services.
 
A little more about me is that I love to read, work out and spend time with family and friends. I am also always trying new restaurants in the city!
